Shooting

The company lets shooting rights to a local syndicate shoot at Trawsgoed. However, we also let rough shooting days to parties of guns and can offer a memorable long weekend or a week long shooting holiday.

We specialise in walked up and rough shooting where the variety of game is more important than numbers.

Please note that this sort of shooting is not suitable for client or business entertaining.

Accommodation can be arranged at local hotels, although we strongly recommend shooting parties to  Y Talbot in Tregaron: www.ytalbot.com but other suitable accommodation an be arranged.

During your stay it is quite possible to bag pheasant, partridge, mallard, widgeon, teal, snipe, woodcock, hare, rabbit, pigeon and occasionally geese.  Most  shooting days include lunch either in the field or in a farm building. The bothy (y bwthyn) at Dolbeudiau Farm has an open fire.

Rough shooting, variety of game - £145 per gun per day (including lunch)

Duck - 1-4 Guns - £135 per flight (conditions permitting)
